As Lawrence departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Lawrence may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Lawrence leaves behind.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alice "Barrie"; and his children, Kathleen Cooper (Roger), Josephine Spelman (Eugene), Michael (Lori), Elizabeth Boghosian (Thomas), Thomas (Carolina) and John (Christine). He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Charles J. O'shea Funeral Homes (2515 N Jerusalem Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael RC Church (600 Newbridge Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554).
