With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marguerite Zavaro of Glen Cove, New York, who passed away on August 12, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace and James (Irish); her husband Matthew Zavaro; her siblings, Eilen Boris and James Fanning (late Helen); and her daughters, Gay-Marie Zavaro and Joy-Marie Zavaro.
She is survived by: her brother John Fanning (Bettyann); her children, Cindy Larice, Matthew Zavaro Jr. (Diane), Kim Kern (Mike Grella) and Alex Kern; her grandchildren, Christopher Larice (Kristin), Alexa Kern, Nicole Benson, Melanie Benson, Patrick Kern (Daniella) and Maxx Kern; and her great grandchildren, Emerson, Logan, Averi, Liam and Savannah Marie.
A burial will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rood Cemetery (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590).
