He is survived by: his wife Thresiamma Mathew; his children, Terry, Raj and Varkey Mathew; his son-in-law Bejoe Varughese; his grandchildren, Nathan and Zoe Varughese; and his sister Omana Jacob Mavelil.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Gregorios Malankara Church (175 Cherry Ln, Floral Park, NY 11001). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A wake will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Park Funeral Chapels (2175 Jericho Tpke, Garden City Park, NY 11040). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Gregorios Malankara Church (175 Cherry Ln, Floral Park, NY 11001). A repast will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Resurrection (147 Campbell Ave, Williston Park, NY 11596).
