It is with sadness that the passing of Joseph A. Rind (East Meadow, New York) is shared. Joseph, born on May 27, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on June 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Joseph will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Joseph by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Joseph is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Joseph’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Scrivano; his grandchildren, David, Rebecca, Michelle, Jacklyn, Matt and Joy; his wife Phyllis Rind; his sons, Gary, Michael and Richard; and his sister Eileen Lewin.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo F. Kearns Funeral Home (445 E Meadow Ave, East Meadow, NY 11554). A Mass was held on Saturday, June 13th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Raphael's Church (600 Newbridge Rd, East Meadow, NY 11554).
