He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sarro and Crucifisa Sarro; and his wife Catherine Yannucci (Kate). He is survived by: his sons, Louis (Barbara), Ronald (Rosemarie), Gary and James (Joyce); his grandchildren, Michelle (Keith), Christine (Chris), Kristyn (Nico), Kimberly (Michael), James and Jesse; and his great grandchildren, Kevin, Ryan, Vanessa, Madison, Liam, Lorenzo, Rocco, Giovanni and Sebastian.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vernon C. Wagner Funeral Homes (125 W Old Country Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Church (500 S Oyster Bay Rd, Hicksville, NY 11801). A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cemetery of the Holy Rood (111 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
