He is survived by: his wife Miriam; his children, Robert A. Greene, Jr. (Dena) of Beardstown, Michelle A. Greene of Lynn Center, Christina Goolsby (William) of Bloomington Springs, Samantha Greene (Aaron Thompson) of Rock Island, Joseph L. Greene of Lynn Center and Angela S. West (Chris Deneve) of Moline; his grandchildren, Blake, Devon Greene of Beardstown, Stephanie, William Maxwell of Baxter and William Goolsby of Bloomington Springs; his great grandchildren, Addylynn Maxwell of Baxter and Evelyn Deneve of Moline; and his sister Joanne Gentry (Don) of Havana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alpha United Methodist Church (211 N Scandia St, Alpha, IL 61413). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (Joy, IL 61260).
