He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Garza and Matilda Garza (Zupan). He is survived by: his wife Melissa; his daughters, Andrea Newcomb (Tim) of Walcott, IA and Rachel Lemmons (Shane) of Moline, IL; his grandchildren, Dillon Garza, Scarlet Garza, Cale Lemmons, Santana Chavez, Cereno Chavez (Kennedy) and Haley Newcomb; his great grandchildren, Cassian Chavez, Ace Chavez and Eri Chavez; and his sister Irene Kemmis (John) of Geneseo, IL.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Moline (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
