With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan L. Cook of Silvis, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barbara Dunsworth and David Cook. He is survived by: his son Derek Cook (Lisa) of Daytona Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Mina Cook, Summer Cook and Morgan Cook; and his siblings, Linda Bunch of Virginia, Janice Brixey (John) of Rock Island and Alan Cook (Nancy) of Geneseo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1101 10th Ave, Silvis, IL 61282). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
