She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gelomb and Charlotte Gelomb; and her spouse Francis "Fritz" O. Boom. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Best and Randy Boom (Sandra); her grandchildren, Aaron Best (Courtney), Adam Best and Heather Schermann (Dale); her great grandchildren, Baily Best, Bodhi Best, Addy Schermann, Deacon Schermann and Cassidy Schermann; and her stepgrandchildren, Dr. Craig Nelson and Kim Martin. She is also survived by 5 step-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Moline Memorial Park Cemetery (5001 34th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
Memorials may be made to a Local Pet Shelter or the Salvation Army.
