He was predeceased by: his mother Norma Eleanora Bambauer (Ziegler); his stepfather Byron Schlofeldt; his father Myron Bambauer; and his sister Sharon Sievers. He is survived by: his sons, Shannon (Jill Bambauer), Dan Bambauer of Coal Valley and Nick Bambauer of Coal Valley; his grandchildren, Kate, Connor Bambauer, Hailie, Hunter Bambauer (Elaina), Kiah and Logan Bambauer; and his brother-in-law Martin Sievers.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory - Coal Valley (1700 1st St, Coal Valley, IL 61240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
