With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dennis E. Thompson of Rock Island, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dennis left this world on May 12, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Dennis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Dennis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Tommy" Thompson and Lois Thompson (Faucett). He is survived by: his wife Gail I. Staats; and his daughters, Jennifer Brozovich (Jeff), Christina Long (Jay), Cindy Ostrom, Marty Morrow (Danny) and Linda Thompson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Milan American Legion (515 1st Ave W, Milan, IL 61264).
