He is survived by: his wife Linda Dahlberg Carpenter; his children, Jason Kauzlarich (Beth), Jake Kauzlarich, Adrian Carpenter (Karla) and Amy Turner (Eric); his grandchildren, Alaxandria, Annah, Graycen, Chauncey, Jayden, Eli, Stella, Michael, Chloe, Easton and Derek; his great grandchild Carter; his siblings, Sharon Earl (Rod) and Arnold "Butch" Kershaw (Shawn Lewis); and his caregiver Med.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to PAWS or University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
