It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Freelove of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Sr. Jones and Betty Jones (Moore); her former husband Brian Neal; and her brother Eddie Jones, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Freelove; her children, Joseph Montjoy III of Moline and LaCrecia Montjoy of Moline; her grandchildren, Angelica, Kiyah, Joseph IV, Brandon, Conner Montjoy, Arius Montjoy, Yasmine Martin, Jordan, Brianna Newborn, Johnny and Symphonique Angel; her great grandchildren, Ava Montjoy, Adrienne Hopson, Armoni Montjoy, Amyah Montjoy, Alayna Martin and Amira Quick; her siblings, Linda Simmons (Kenny) of Moline and Victor Jones of Rock Island; her stepdaughters, Tonya Doss and Ashley Richardson; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan, Brooke, A. J., Aundrea, Aubrey Doss and Brantley Kelly; her niece LaToya A. Angel; and her nephew Kenneth Terrell Simmons. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
