She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowe Carlson and Viola Carlson; her son Steven Murphy; and her brothers, Ken Carlson and Ron Carlson.
She is survived by: her son Shawn Murphy of Geneseo; her sisters, Karen Van Quathem of Urbandale, IA and Gayelene Johnson (Bruce) of Cambridge; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Carlson of Moline and RuthAnn Carlson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Valleyview Country Club.
