With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Lestor of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Lestor to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Gottfrid Olson and Edith Olson (Thulin); her husband Rev. Albert D. Lestor; and her brother Larry Olson. She is survived by: her children, David Lestor (Diane) of Orion, IL and Martha Lestor of Coal Valley, IL; her grandchildren, Amanda Belknap (Daniel) of Bloomingdale, IL and Andrew Lestor (Samantha) of Greer, SC; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Owen Belknap, Everett and Calvin Lestor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (3145 31st Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
