She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie McMurray and Helen McMurray (Shuman); and her husband Joseph Burns. She is survived by: her children, David Burns (Lisa), Woodbridge, Paul Burns (Anna), Brian Burns, Bernadette Gustafson (Jason) and Anna Anders (Scott); and her siblings, Sandra David, Randy McMurray (Deb) and Dixie Reed (Randy Fechner). She is also survived by five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (2502 29th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
