She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Rangel and Antonia Velasquez Rangel; her husband Sebastian Ramon Contreras; her son Javier "JC"; her grandsons, Andrew Sebastian Contreras and Christopher Gonzalez; her son-in-law Sean O'Shea; and her siblings, Adolfo Rangel, Leandro Rangel, Juan Rangel, Jeronimo Rangel and Beatriz Tristan.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Contreras Williams (Scott), Victoria Nappi, Sergio Contreras (MJ), Frank Contreras (Brenda), Berto Contreras (Maria Nino), Guadalupe "Peo" Contreras (Tonya), Diana Ackerman (Eric), Sebastian Contreras Jr. and Joseph Contreras (Trisha). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (3209 60th St, Moline, IL 61265).
