She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Rock and Mary Rock (Purchell); her husband Arnold D. Battin; her son Carl Jacobs; and her siblings, Paul Rock, Dorothy Haring and Margaret Gossen.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Goossens and Gerald Jacobs. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at the Rock Island National Cemetery (Rock Island Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
