She was predeceased by: her parents, William Seibert and Mary Seibert (Fox); her husband Duane Southwood; her children, Michael Southwood, Joseph Southwood L. C and Diana McGrath; her great grandchild Maylee Hepworth; her sisters, Agnes Mason, Genevieve Bufe and Lillian VanDeKerckhove; and her sons-in-law, Ralph McGrath and James Chance.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Lavery (Michael), Mary Mangan (Stephen), Timothy Southwood, Theresa Majetic (Dennis), Barbara Chance, John Southwood, Sr., Cathy Southwood, Roseanne Hepworth and Thomas Southwood (Julie); her nephew Robert Lempfert; and her friends, Sue Pemp and Edna Diputo-Horn. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 67 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (2502 29th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
