She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Burns and Irene Burns (DeJaeger); her husband Al Kelley; and her siblings, Rosemarie Kennedy, Robert Burns, Joseph Burns, Patricia Jennings and Rev. John Burns.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Nelson of Rock Island and Julia Riley of East Moline; her grandchildren, Robby, Rachel, Rianna Nelson, Hali, Colin, Mitchell and Austin Riley; her great grandchildren, Bentley and Eulalia; her sisters, Teresa (John Huyten) and Cynthia (John Jaster); her cousin MaryAnn Hannavan (Ron); and her close friends, Jean and Mary Kay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265).
