She was predeceased by: her parents, John Martel and Felicitas Martel; and her husband John R. Cabrera. She is survived by: her children, John Cabrera (Rebecca) of Galesburg, Alicia Carter (Jack) of St. Louis, Christine Cabrera of Lincolnshire, Michael Cabrera (Karen) of Aurora and Julie Cabrera (Don Meyer) of Lincolnshire; her grandchildren, Rachel Cabrera, Paul Cabrera, Katy Paule (Ryan), Nick Carter, Kevin Cabrera, Jacob Cabrera, Olivia Meyer (Sam Briley) and Matthew Meyer; her great grandchildren, Willa, Greta and Dean Paule; and her sisters, Sara Ramos of East Moline and Rosemary Ordaz of Oak Forest, Illinois..
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watson Thomas Funeral Home (1849 N Seminary St, Galesburg, IL 61401). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church (273 S Prairie St, Galesburg, IL 61401).
