He was predeceased by: his parents, William LeRoy and Lela Mae Calkins (Sanders); his wife Ylaria Calkins; and his siblings, Lela Mercedes, Guy Calkins (June), Jeane Green (Miller), Janice Harvey (J. Ron) and Diane Coughlin.
He is survived by: his children, William "Roy" Calkins (Jill) of Rock Falls, Connie Yonlisky (Robert) of Bonita Springs, FL, Linda Calkins of Punta Gorda, FL and Ylaria "Booties" Calkins (Ryan O'Connor) of Estero, FL; his siblings, Karen Downey (Steve) of Polo and David Calkins (Amy) of Vinalhaven Island, ME; his brother-in-law Jerry Coughlin of Mesa, AZ; his grandchildren, Cody Calkins (Rachel), Tyler Blevins (Brittany), Ramina Marques (Tarik), Leyla Yonlisky, Nikoma "Niko" Gugerty and Ikia Gugerty; and his great grandchildren, Calvin Calkins, Theodore Calkins, Jaedyn Blevins, Rowyn Blevins and Ava Marques.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Knoll Memorial Park (18268 Pennington Rd, Sterling, IL 61081).
