She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kelly and Lorriane Kelly; her children, Michael DeSmet and Kate Ransom; and her brothers, William and Jeffrey Kelly.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis DeSmet; her daughters, Mary Ann DeSmet, Kristen Giradi of St. Louis, MO, Jennifer DeSmet-Putnam and Scotta Morton of Columbia, MO; her grandchildren, Kaylen, Aliyah DeSmet-Girardi, Jack, Tyler and Callen Putnam; her son-in-law Michael Ransom; her siblings, Steven (Denise Kelly), Tim (Trish Kelly) and Maureen (Charlie Ragland); and also, Tom Buchmeyer, Rosey and David.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church - Moline (1307 17th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Seton Catholic School.
