He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Herbert and Mildred Herbert (Schaecher); his brothers, Kent Herbert (Nancy) of Makanda, IL, John Herbert (Darci), James Herbert and Kevin Herbert (Nancy); and his close friend Mary Michl. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rafferty Funeral Home (2111 1st Street A a, Moline, IL 61265, USA). Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
