He is survived by: his wife Carol Erhart; his children, Tamara Thompson and Mike Spalding; his stepchildren, Linda Matheis (Mark), Tom Erhart, Ben Erhart, Stefani Kopp (Kevin) and Betsy Fischer (Nick); his grandchildren, Thomas (Denise), Taylor (Ethan), Tanner (Jade), Rachel, Andrew of Joe, T. J., Kayli, Garrett, Josh (Paige), Branden, Kristen (Will), Megan, Olivia, Clover (Ryan) and Lilly (Carlos); his great grandchildren, Troy, Karson, Elias, Samuel, Wesley, Ivy and Wally; and his siblings, Malia Sullivan (David) and Elaine Simpson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Pius X Catholic Church (2502 29th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (2502 29th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
Memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to the Knights of Columbus Allouez Council #658 or Boy Scouts Troop 100 in Geneseo, both organizations that held great significance for him.
