It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Anderson of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Peterson and Albertina Peterson (Carlson); and her siblings, Dorothy, Donald, Kenneth and Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Anderson, Cindy (Terry Lamansky) and Cherie (Joe Payne); her grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Matt Anderson (Melanie), Kristin Stambaugh (Terry), Nikolai Lamansky (Katie), Alexey Knudsen (Lewis), Katrina Keuning (Kristopher), Samuel Payne (Anna) and Benjamin Payne (Brianna); and her great grandchildren, Max, Wyatt, Owen, Vinny, Ivy, Levi, Theo and Eryn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church (1600 20th St, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
