He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Kampen and Katherine Van Kampen (Poel); and his brother James Van Kampen. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his stepchildren, Patty Anderson of East Moline, Albert D. Horton, Jr. of Hillsdale and Joseph Horton of East Moline; his grandsons, Jonathan Tollerud (Ashlee), Zachary Tollerud and Austin Tollerud; his children, Timothy Van Kampen, Brian Van Kampen, Julie Degen and Karen Jackson; and his siblings, Arla Morrow, Barbara Postel, Harold, Leon and Tom Van Kampen.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Horizon Room at Trimble Pointe (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265).
