With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sharon Beth Wainwright of East Moline, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Foor and Libby Foor (Faris); her son Mike Wainwright; and her brothers, Mick (Delores), Moke (Shirley) and Terry Foor (Pat).
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Wainwright; her grandson Josh Wainwright; her great grandchild Zoey Wainwright; her sisters, Kate Saar (Don) of Lake George, CO and Norma Duncan (Larry) of Burlington, IA; and her goddaughter Gena Knight. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Maria Cemetery (10184 303rd St N, Hillsdale, IL 61257).
Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or for an education fund to be established for her great granddaughter.
