It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria S. Peña of Moline, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Santos and Louisa Santos (Rodriguez); and her siblings, Manuel Santos Jr. and Lydia Molina. She is survived by: her husband Adrian Peña; her children, Adrian Peña Jr. (Debra), Brenda Hendrickson, Rick Peña, Cindy Dixon (Brad) and Leroy Peña (Dawn); and her siblings, Noemi Ramon, Eva Moran and Joe Santos. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Life Fellowship (2345 19th St, Moline, IL 61265).
