She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Smarsty and Joyce M. Smarsty (Swanson); her grandmother Vera Caldwell; her daughter Tracey Denato; her granddaughter Susan Gasper; her great grandchild Triston; her siblings, Richard Smarsty and Sharon Johnson; and her aunt Dorothy Nickols (Earnie).
She is survived by: her children, Audie Canfield, Tami Minard (Kirk) and Brian Canfield; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Kathy, John, Nicole, Shanna, Stephanie, Jae and Tasha; and her brothers, Dean Smarsty (Bernice) and Dennis Smarsty (Cathi). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory (6601 38th Ave, Moline, IL 61265).
Memorials may be made to the family, for a fund to be established.
