With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jay Allison of Rock Island, Illinois, who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Jay leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Allison. He is survived by: his mother Susan Allison (Zaleski); his brother Jon Allison; his nieces, Jordan Oja (Josh), Jenna Allison, Marisa Allison and Makenzie Allison; and his pet Holly. He is also survived by two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory - Rock Island (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
