Duane LaMere

We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2025, at the age of 81, Duane LaMere of Rock Island, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Duane LaMere to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern LaMere and Doris Whan LaMere; his former wife Leslee Carlson; his sister Doreen; and his siblings-in-law, Luigino "Gene" Sartor and Dixie LaMere.
He is survived by: his wife Amy Jo LaMere; his children, Sam LaMere, Heidi Rettig (Kevin), Amber Katz (Steven) and Kevin Pollock (Brianna); his grandchildren, Sean, Miranda, Zachory, Hannah, Noah, Lucas, Natalie, Emma of Abby, Logan, Lauren and Leslee; his brother David LaMere of Pekin, IL; and his nephews, Drew (Angie) and Dane LaMere. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Church. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Duane's honor to the Marion Medical Mission, Grace Church PC (USA), or Friendship Manor.
