He is survived by: his wife Peg; his daughters, Laura "Lori" Hipes (Matt) of Ottawa, IL, Robin Hocking (Carl) of Cheyenne, WY and Teresa Mahsem of Wausau, WI; his grandchildren, Andrea, Timothy, Tyler, Ryan and Adam; his great grandchildren, Kai, Niko, Eden, Charli, Dean, Liam and Daisy; and his brother William E. Heitzman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - East Moline (1450 30th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
