She was predeceased by: her parents, Estes E. "Bob" Grant and Edna Grant (Jones); and her husband Wilbur Frank "Bill" Cockrell. She is survived by: her sons, Mike Cockrell of Oak Park and David Cockrell (Aurora) of Huntington Beach, California; and her grandchildren, Ellen, Malia and William Cockrell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (2502 E College Ave, Bloomington, IL 61704). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association.
