He was predeceased by : his parents, D. C. Keys and Louise Duckworth Keys; his grandparents, Hurk, Pinkie Keys, U. M. and Adeline Duckworth; his siblings, Dee Willie Keys, Junior Lee Keys, Timmy Keys, Kenneth Porter, Joyce Ann Wilkerson and Henrietta Bryant; and his siblings-in-law, Veronica Keys and Richard Durwin Woodard.
He is survived by : his siblings, Truman Keys (Carolyn), Bobby Keys (Rose) of Danville, Stanley Porter of Indianapolis, Four, Vickie Westley (Randy) of Danville, Two, Brenda Fisher (Leslie) of Danville, Two, Stacey Chapman (Shawn) of Danville, Two and Karen Forman (Terry) of Danville, Two; his siblings-in-law, Gayle Keys, Ginene Porter of Danville, One and Jerry Wilkerson of Michigan; his cousins, Willie Edward Duckworth and Roy Dean Duckworth; his nephews, Doug Keys, Marcus Keys and Gabriel Wright; his aunts, Bobbie Patterson and Ann Gunn; his close friends, Minister Curtis and Eva Reed; his cousins, Junior Crosby and Maxie Keys; and his pet Brownie. He is also survived by forty eight nieces and nephews, sixty eight great nieces and nephews, twenty great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Church of Jesus Christ (1033 N Walnut St, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the New Jerusalem World Wide Ministry (1033 N Walnut St, Danville, IL 61832).
