We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2024, at the age of 90, Jean Schroeder of Steeleville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilburn A. Schnoeker and Nora Schnoeker (Bierman); her husband Roger A. Schroeder; her son Gary; her siblings, Leland, Dale and Arlene; and her close friend Glenwood O. Degenhardt.
She is survived by : her children, Rick Schroeder (Jean) of Steeleville, IL, Lori Schroeder and Debra Rathert (Sid) of Ava, IL; and her sister Donna Rice (Dale) of Carbondale, IL.. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, her 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, January 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (105 N Garfield St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
