He was predeceased by : his parents, George Shea and Rosa Shea (Laird); and his siblings, Franklin, Richard Shea, Imogene Slone and Marilyn Sharp.
He is survived by : his sons, David Shea (Thersea) of South Roxana and Brian Shea of Woodriver; his sister Fern Scheidegger of Pinellas Park, Florida; his granddaughter Barbara Esterlen (Lawrence) of Glen Carbon; and his great grandchildren, Taven, Tucker and Theo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Gress, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home - Hardin (207 S County Rd, Hardin, IL 62047). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 3rd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Indian Creek Cemetery.
