She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis Wood and Edith Wood (Beale); her spouse Fremond Orr; and her brother Jack. She is survived by : her children, Gary Orr (Kathy) of Port Byron, Mike Orr (Sharon) of Taylor Ridge and JeriLynn VerCautren (Doug) of Moline; and her grandchildren, Chad Orr, Katie Orr, Rich Skiles, Sherry Molander, Crystal Peterson, Cortney Orendorf, MacKenzie Griffin, Jeff VerCautren, Mitch VerCautren and Jillian VanOpDorp. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. - Port Byron (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (118 Rodman Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Riverdale High School Boosters.
