He was predeceased by : his wife Bonita "Bonnie"; his children, Patrick L. Scianna and Ruth M. Scianna; his grandson Patrick; and his siblings, Carl, Ann, Gertrude, Marjorie, Mary, Frances, James and Anthony.
He is survived by : his children, Joseph P., Jr. (Naomi), Anthony J. Scianna (Barbara), Richard R. Scianna (Michelle) and Kathleen S. Doherty; and his grandchildren, Megan, Mary Kate, Jarrett, Travis, MacKenzie, Joseph, Benjamin, Jacob and Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cumberland Chapels (8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706). A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 17th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, February 19th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433).
