It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Allen of Sheridan, Illinois, born in Galva, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Edward and Orie Smith (Webber); her son Steven Michael Mark Washay (Sandy); and her siblings, Alexander Van Smith, Lawrence Smith, Robert Smith, Fred Smith, Maurice Smith, Arnold Smith, Janice Davis, Mary Johnson, Wilma Wolfley and Freddy Dale Smith.
She is survived by : her sons, Michael Lee Brokaw and Mark Woodin; her step-sons, Mark Steven Allen (Michelle) and Jerry Dennis Allen (Carol); and her siblings, Richard Smith and Dolly Hougas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home - Sandwich (606 E Arnold St, Sandwich, IL 60548).
