It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Keith Kottke of Woodstock, Illinois, born in Harvard, Illinois, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Elgart Kottke and Elzora Kottke. He is survived by : his wife Trudy Rousey; his sons, Bradley (Rebecca) and Eric (Alexis); his grandchildren, Reagan, Michael and Christopher; and his siblings, Dale Kottke (Marianne) and Melody Gieseke (Dave). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (401 St Johns Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Alden Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doug's name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church.
