It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Marie McGreal (Elmhurst, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry Patrick Clancy and Elizabeth Anne Clancy (Byrne); her siblings, William Lichneckert (Barb) and Elizabeth Krause (Art); and her granddaughter Kayla McGreal.
She is survived by : her husband James; her children, Wendy McGreal (Cheryl Leoni), Brian McGreal (Martha), Lori McGreal, Matthew McGreal (Colleen Condon) and Johnpaul McGreal (Amy); her grandchildren, Megan, Emma, Madison, Allison, Amanda, Camryn, Jack, Joseph, Molly, Ramona and Patrick; and her family Irish.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A mass of christian burial will be held on Wednesday, February 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
