He was predeceased by : his parents, James E. Brown and Priscilla Askia (Brown); and his siblings, Lucille Muwwakkil (J. C. Hinton), Eddie Lee Brown, Maxine Moore (Ervins), Joseph Louis Brown, Michael Joe Brown and Sherry Askia (Brown).
He is survived by : his wife Beverly J. Brown (Gavin); his children, Anthony Brown and Stasha Brown; his grandchildren, Savana Brown and Amir Brown; and his siblings, Ray Brown (Felicia) and Scherris Austin (Kelton). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A burial will be held on Friday, March 1st 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433).
