It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norbert E. Woods (Elwood, Illinois), who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Sharon; his children, Brian, Daniel Woods and Cynthia Wright (Scott); his grandchildren, Kyan, Landen and Preston; his siblings, Sharon Woods and John Woods (late Bernadette); and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Woods (Bob), Robert Rimkus, Richard Rimkus (Michelle) and Cheryl Butler (Jay).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Foran Funeral Home (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 14th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Foran Funeral Home - Summit (7300 W Archer Ave, Summit, IL 60501). The military honors will be held on Friday, March 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
In lieu of flowers Memorial to Alcoholics Anonymous, Airedale Rescue, U.S.O. or any Veterans Organizations would be appreciated.
