She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde L. Harbert and Grace Harbert (Thomas); her daughter Dawn M. Kohn; and her brothers, Donald and Rex C. Harbert.
She is survived by : her husband Arthur Fields Smith; her son Michael J. Smith of Peru; her grandchildren, Richard "RJ" Koontz of Windsor Heights, IA, Mandy Heng (Michael) of Urbandale, IA, Corinne Washburne (Martin) of Mason, MI, Nicholas R. Smith (Melissa Dobovsky) of Oglesby, Brittany L. Smith of Mesa, AZ and Gina M. Love (Sebastian) of Peru; and her sister Loretta Harbert-Lockwood. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home - Peru (909 Pike St, Peru, IL 61354). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 1st 2024 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
