He was predeceased by : his brothers, Matthew, Charles and J. W.; and his brothers-in-law, Armour Wood and Clemon Breath.
He is survived by : his wife Ella; his sons, Damon Hamilton (Courtney) and Jerry Moffett; his siblings, Bill (Earnestine), Anne Woods, Betty Booker (Aaron), Elbert (Jeanette), Alex (Ann), Shirley Breath and Geneva Breath (Carl); his siblings-in-law, Jettie Morris, Dexter Morris (Jenifer), James Gaddis (Tamekia), Geraldine Hamilton, Paula Thomas (Sylvester) and Cheryl Moffett (late George); and his grandchildren, Alexis, Cameron, Brooklyn, Cash, Shantel Joinae (Teddy) and Jazmyn. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prayer Tower Ministries Church of God in Christ (500 Stryker Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd 2024 at the Elmhurst Cemetery (1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433).
