He was predeceased by : his siblings, Stan (late Jerry), Tony DeFilippis (late Jackie), Rosetta Cole (Mort) and Vic Albergo (Madeline). He is survived by : his wife Marilyn; his children, Benjamin (Rita), Stephen DeFilippis (Doreen) and Cynthia Armato; his grandchildren, Scott (Amanda), Colt, Ana, Troy, Dana Magnuson (James Grahovac), Benjamin Magnuson (Margaret), Brittany and Nikko Armato; and his great grandchildren, Olyvia, Tyler, Bennie, Lilly and Vail. He is also survived by his parents, siblings.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Visitation Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A burial will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
