With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Emigdio Ruiz of Northlake, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Emigdio farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Emigdio is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Aniceto Ruiz (Silvia), Rene Ruiz (Alira), Olga Garcia (Luis), Raul Ruiz (Nadia) and Orlando Ruiz (Claudia).
Visitation was held on Monday, June 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, June 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Borromeo Church (1637 N 37th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160).
