He was predeceased by : his wife Sharon; his son Greg McMillin; his parents, Jim McMillin and Addie McMillin; his in-laws, Bob and Mary Ahearn; his sister Sherie; his brothers-in-law, Jim Hammer and Richard Gordon; and his nephews, Jimmy Hammer and Patrick McMillin.
He is survived by : his daughter Dawn Morfoot (Michael); his grandsons, Connor and Evan Morfoot; his siblings, Maureen Howaniec (John), Michael McMillin (Melody) and Mark McMillin (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Pat Gordon (late Richard). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tezak's Home (1211 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Elmhurst Cemetery (1212 E Washington St, Joliet, IL 60433). The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorial contributions can be made in his name to Disabled American Veterans or the Michael J. Fox Parkinson Foundation.
