He was predeceased by : his wife Mary; and his siblings, Dr. John Karamitsos (Barbara) and Estelle Piazza (late Charles). He is survived by : his children, Stephanie (Tom Kruse), Gregory (Caterina) and Peter Karamitsos (Maria); his grandchildren, Christopher Remo (Brianne), Alaina, Nicholas, Alyssa, Eleni and Angeliki Karamitsos; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah and Dominic Remo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home (10501 W Cermak Rd, Westchester, IL 60154). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church (893 N Church Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
